The sparkling display cases and pristine floors you see in the King's House are thanks to Valerie Overton and Sarah King, our indefatigable housekeepers. On a practical level, they keep the historic museum building in good order, carrying out a huge number of tasks from dealing with contractors and changing light bulbs to sorting out overflowing gutters! Most importantly, they are our lead on keeping the whole building clean and safe for staff and visitors alike.
