Talk by Alex Langlands
Archaeologist, historian and presenter of the past Alex Langlands will provide an exclusive insight into the role he played in the acclaimed BBC 2 factual documentaries Tales from the Green Valley, A Tudor Feast at Christmas and Victorian Farm. In 2010 Alex and the team began work on Edwardian Farm exploring rural life at the turn of the century and later looked at rural life when Britain went to war. During the course of making these programmes, Alex put a number of his skills to the test, including working heavy horses, ploughing, sowing and harvesting.
