William Beckford's gothic revival masterpiece, Fonthill Abbey, is one of the greatest lost country houses in England. Much of what is known about the construction of this extraordinary building comes from sketches and paintings by Turner. Dr Amy Frost, Curator of Beckford's Tower & Museum in Bath explores the architecture of Fonthill Abbey and the role played by artists including Turner in it's creation'.
